Johnson Melloh Solutions completed a 4.14 kW solar array installation at Staughton Senior Community in Indianapolis. The array is mounted on a single story residential building with an asphalt shingle roof and consists of 18 Bosch 230 watt monocrystalline panels with Enphase M215 micro-inverters. By going with micro-inverters, the owner will be able to have one of the most efficient solar arrays possible as well as an industry leading online data monitoring solution.
During this installation, a group of 25-30 students, teachers, and community leaders from Arlington High School came for a guided tour and lesson on solar technology and real world applications from the Johnson Melloh Solutions project manager. Other topics discussed with the students included the future of solar technology, energy efficiency, battery technology, and career opportunities in the green energy industry.
